Simple or advanced
Every association chooses how much detail its tickets carry. Go to Association settings → Support tickets and switch Advanced ticket fields on or off.
- Simple (the default) — title, description, attachments and comments. Best for a building that runs itself.
- Advanced — adds urgency, type and assigned to. Useful when a management firm handles support for many buildings.
Switching back to simple hides those fields; nothing is deleted, and they come back if you switch again.
Change the status
Tap the status at the top of a ticket and pick a new one. Two changes happen on their own when someone comments:
- When you reply to a ticket that is waiting for support, it moves to in progress.
- When the owner replies to one that is waiting for owner, it moves back to waiting for support.
Who can see a ticket
Tap the pencil to edit (it turns into a tick; tap it again when you are done). A public ticket shows Make private; a private one shows its owners and lets you:
- Add owners — they will see the ticket and its comments.
- Remove an owner with the ✕.
- Make visible to all — every owner sees it again.
The person who opened the ticket and the administrators can always see it.
Hide a comment without deleting it
Each comment has an eye icon for administrators. Hiding a comment removes it for the other owners, while its author still sees it, marked "Hidden from other owners". Tap the eye again to show it. Use the bin only when the comment should disappear for good.
Good to know
Owners cannot edit tickets — not even their own. They comment, and can delete their own comments.
Your replies are marked. Comments from administrators show an "Admin" label and an orange bar, so owners can tell at a glance who answered.
