Arrange your building

The Home of your association opens with the building itself: a cut-away model where every flat and every garage is a room. Owners appear on a small card in their unit, empty units say so, and garages sit underground. The light changes with the time of day where the building is.

Reading it

  • Floors with flats are stacked above ground, bottom floor first. Garage levels are below the ground line.
  • A unit with an owner shows the owner's name on its card, following each owner's privacy choices. No owner yet means the unit is still empty; administrators also see a small "add person" button there.
  • Rooms with nothing on them are simply gaps in the building, not units.
  • Tap a unit to open it: owners, contact details, fees. On a phone, swipe sideways when a floor is wider than the screen.

Changing the layout (administrators)

Press Edit layout above the building.

  • Move a unit with the arrows on its card, or drag it onto another unit to swap the two.
  • Flats stay above ground and garages can go anywhere below, so a flat cannot be dropped into the garage levels.
  • Flats per floor, Garages per floor, Floors and Garage levels change the shape of the building. When you add or remove floors, the units are placed again in their order.
  • Press Done when you finish. Changes are saved as you go and everyone sees them at once.

Choosing the room of a unit (administrators)

Open the unit and go to its Image tab. Tap the pencil, choose Fixed and pick a room, or leave it on Random for a different room each time the building opens. Flats with an owner get furnished rooms, empty flats get empty ones, and top-floor flats can also be an attic with a terrace. The choice is saved as soon as you tap.

Good to know

New units land in the first free spot of their zone. If the building is full, a floor is added.

"Fix layout" appears when a unit has no place yet, for example right after creating the association. Press it once and the building is tidy again.

The number of flats and garages is not changed here. Add or remove units from Association settings.
